Introducting the first vintage of Cellar 13 Winery's White Bordeaux Style Blend - the 2023 Sidanelv is a blend of Albariño and Sauvignon Blanc from the Livermore AVA. Continuing with the tradition of naming our Bordeaux Style Blends after our winemaker's Cherokee heritage, Sidanelv (pronounced SI- DAH - NEY - LA) means "family" in Cherokee.
2023 is our very first vintage of Sauvignon Blanc, and we absolutley love it! Taking this wine to the next level, Darin, our Winemaker, produced a blend of stainless steel and barrel aged Sauvignon Blanc. The result is a wine that is fruit forward and refreshing with balanced acidity. This Sauvignon Blanc is sure to be a crowd pleaser at those family gatherings.
Our 2023 Albariño is crisp and bright with aromatic notes of stone fruits and honeysuckle. This wine pairs well with seafood, paella and fatty cheeses. Following in the footsteps of our 2021 Albariño, it is expected to sell out quickly.
